Kubota BX24, Case 580 Super L
In my approximate 26 years of adulthood, I've owned about 35 road vehicles, 6 garden tractors, and one TLB. Of those, the TLB, which is Kubota BX24 that I bought new in 2007, is the only one THAT JUST DOESN'T EVER BREAK OR FAIL. Seriously, it's amazing. It does more work and is asked more of it than any of the other vehicles I've owned, and the thing has been perfect. Let's see, uh, the seat has a tear in it, the seatbelt mount is a little worn, and the hazard lights don't always blink. That's about all I can think of that has ever gone "wrong" with this thing. Just ordinary maintenance, indoor storage about 60% of the time, and it's the most dependable vehicle I've ever owned. Just want to say BRAVO to Kubota.

If you flog it hard enough and get really lazy with maintenance, it will break but then any machine will, brand has nothing to do with it.

if I was 26 again, I'd be a w...e. lol.

Far as mine are concerned, one is a 2002 with 6K hours on it and the other is a 2004 with 2K hours on it. Other than regular and consistent maintenance, neither have required anything major and both engines and transmissions are flawless. I only use Kubota filters and premium fluids and they both get worked and hard. I farm with both. My big expense is tires. To reshoe either of mine will set you back between 5 and 6 grand depending on tire brand and design with radials being more expensive. R1's on both, of course.

Neither engine uses a drop of oil and neither engine has had any components replaced.

Kubota's rock in my opinion.

My BX2200 itself hasn't needed much. Just consumable items.

The MMM is another story, I had to rebuild the gearbox and all spindles bearings. But no problems since.

Very dependable machine.

I am looking to get a L3901, but I'm not sure if I want to trade in the BX. I just like the BX because it's a reliable machine.

This reminds me of my pocket knife. Yeah, I'm a weirdo. I have this pocket knife I swear has a soul, and has a sense of duty to me that it sometimes wants to shirk, but can't. I'm very prone to losing tools. I can permanently lose a tool within 30s of handling it; just vanished into the nether, never to be seen again. It's a pretty amazing superpower. But this pocket knife is immune. It's always right where I need it to be, even if I don't remember putting it there, and even if "there" isn't my pocket. There have been lapses in its dedication; it's gone rumspringa a few times, but it always comes back to me. Once it was missing for nearly a year and I found it in a customer's electrical panel, while performing service there working for a different field service outfit than I was with when I lost it there. I found it once in a vehicle that I bought from a friend, after having apparently losing it in there months earlier when he owned it. It's tied to me by fate; my cosmic utility tool. When you find something that loves you that much, you keep it until death do you part; pocket knife, tractor, woman, whatever.
