After much thought I decided to sell my B2320 two weeks ago. My reasons for letting it go were twofold; I never got warm and fuzzy with the HST, in fact I hated it, and I had only put about 80 hours on it in two years. It was a great little tractor with a fel, like new, and well taken care of, but just wasn't for me. Anyway... I got a call within 5 days of listing it, and the first guy who looked at it bought it. His wife had done a lot of research on various brands, and literally told him, a Kubota or nothing. And, I got within $600.00 of what I paid for it, which was pretty much the sales tax. So, all in all very happy with the whole experience and the value of a Kubota when one is done with it.

I think most well taken care of tractors hold there value pretty well.. From the prices I see nice taken care of tractors sell for here anyway..

Now, aren't you glad you didn't go and buy the cheapest thing out there? Hydrostats are a great machine but there is something VERY annoying about them at the same time, coming from someone that grew up with gear tractors..

Interesting. I'm thinking about selling the 2015 Kubota that I bought 10 months ago and am trying to decide how much to ask for it. I've put about 200 hours on it so will take a bit of a hit; but am tired of making payments on something that I just plain don't like. I can bank those same payments and try to find something I like in the spring.

You might be surprised. I would not bat an eye at 200 Hrs on a maintained Kubota

I don't like HST. I thought that I could get used to it but it doesn't seem to be happening. Mahindra makes a tractor which specs out similar to my old L275DT, which was a great tractor; if I sell this fall I can bank enough to buy next spring with a decent down payment.

Assuming the Mahindra you are looking at is a gear tractor, your dislike for an HST has nothing to do with Kubota. Mahindra has HSTs, everyone has HSTs. Many like HSTs, many like Geared tractors. I have both and like both.

I would prefer to stick with orange but the geared Kubotas in the size that I want don't have live PTO, which is the only reason I bought the HST in the first place.

Well, I did get a great price from the dealer, and he didn't have a geared model. So... I thought why not. Man, what a mistake. I hated that HST. My L and MX are geared and I just love them.
