I just purchased a Land Pride SA20 Hydraulic Post Hole Digger, hydraulic driven to hook up to my 3rd function on the front end. I picked up an extra gallon of hydraulic fluid to replace whatever flows into the unit the first time I hook it up - BUT - I don't know if there is a procedure for starting up a new unit like this. Is there a process to bleed off the air while initializing it, or will the hydraulic system just naturally aspirate any air introduced into the system? Thanks in Advance for the responses :)

Hook it up and open the valve to operate it. I would do this is tractor engine idling. It should not take but a minute or two to fill the hyds on the auger.

+1.... no bleeding required.

The augur is continual flow so it will self bleed.

That said, you may want to avoid getting the cheap tractor fluid already in the augur into your HST.

I would open the return line into a container and flush it before connecting to the tractor return.
