Oh man, that sucks. I hope you were not hurt too bad.

I hope you got it back on all 4 and out of the fire pit quick.

How'd that happen? Loaded bucket too high? Are the tires loaded? I see no ROPS, glad to hear you didn't get hurt.

kuby,

Glad you weren't seriously hurt.

I had an L175 without a ROPS and looked into buying one. You can get them directly from Kubota for less than $200 which is a bargain from my perspective.

I opted to just get a new tractor but if I hadn't, I would have bought the ROPS without a question.

Good Luck and Stay Safe,
Kevin

Ouch!!! That sucks. But at least you're still able to post; meanwhile they're making tractors every day.

Well I was pushing up logs into the fire pit when the front wheel went over the side and with a heavy tree in my bucket it fliped the tractor on its side. I was lucky to have my water trailer close (which I do when burning) so I put the fire out. After shaking the cob webs out of my mind I took a come along and winched it back on to its wheels and every thing was fine so fired it up and backed it out.
I will have to call the dealer and see about the ROPS but a ROPS will only work properly when the operator is wearing a seat belt and that may be a hard habbit to get into.

Definitely get that ROPS. You have already seen how quickly it can happen. You were very fortunate that it did not completely roll and crush you. The only thing worse would to have been pinned under it and burned.
Looks like the raised bucket helped cause you to roll you over. But it appears it also prevented it from rolling upside down.

That is a horribly scarry thought. Get the ROPS and get used to the seat belt. Glad he is OK.
