Some really are...right?
And we all probably know one too!
Well at the WOC, World of Concrete trade show Makita just unveiled their latest high torque brushless cordless impact wrenches to level up the field.
3 new monster models a 1/2 wrench, a 3/4, and a 7/16 hex drive .
Milwaukee had the similar 2763/64/65 in their lineup for a while now, along with a 2762
Dewalt recently released their new DCF899 back earlier in 2015 They also have a 7/16 hex drive unit the DCF898B.
The Dewalt is supposed to have the max torque at the moment. So far there is no specs released for the Makita but Real Tool is planning to test it on the Skidmore as soon as they can.
Just like they have done with the IR, Dewalt ,and Milwaukee units on this video here
In the same class of tools of course there is the....Snap On CTE8850.
The garage that maintains all the vehicles for the business I'm with has that SnapOn wrench its well used.
I just watched a video where a fellow using one of the Milwaukee sq. anvil drive wrenches with a 1-5/16" socket removes and replaces every lug nut (450 ftlbs torque)on a school bus 40 in all. Just to prove he can do it...and with one battery charge!
