Just saw this on you tube, skid steer blower & plow combo.

Skid steers are giants hydraulic pumps with some little tracks or tires and a bucket attached. It’s amazing what the extra GPM will do.

I like how it runs across the grass without tearing it up.

I've often wondered if the serrated augers work well. I have 2 snow blowers, one rear facing and a new inverted. Both have smooth edged augers and I find they don't perform well in hard compacted snow that has been subjected to a few freeze thaw cycles. I've seen blowers with serrated augers and some with paddles and wonder if they really perform better with the stuff that has been piled up, thawed and then frozen. I like to go around before the big thaw happens and blow the piles further away from the house and other buildings. Plus the heavy wet stuff that falls off the roofs of some of the buildings. That stuff is like concrete. Sometimes I can't even dig it out with a bucket on the FEL.

Hello and good afternoon Hillbilly,

Serrated augers work very well as they chew on the dense snow pack as they advance into it.

If you look at some the Yamaha snow blower videos on you tube from Luc Gallant you will see several of them with his smallest Yamaha tracked snow blower chewing into monster snow boulders to get rid of them.

HEAVY music for something that strikes me as being kind of light in the loafers. Stop the music and tell me what it weighs. lol

Many equipment videos have such annoying music and no narration. Why wouldn't you take the opportunity of having someones attention (hard to get these days) and impart some useful information?

well if you want a blower that will digest the rough stuff
