The Missing Link - Tellefsdal Ice Chains

I bought a pair of Tellefsdal Super Ice Chains (made in Norway) for my L3010 a couple years ago and love them. I lost a connecting link that goes on the tread part of the chain that Tellefsdal calls a T-COUPLER. When I called my dealer for a replacement he told me that he has had T-Couplers on order but can't get them ??
Does anyone know where these may be available, or another suitable way to connect the chain that rides on the top of the ag tread. My chains are 8 mm or 5/16".
