After asking about the differences of the clutches and PTO's. I confirmed my order with the local Kubota dealer for my new 2005 L2800 4wd,std shift, foldable ROPS and R4 industrial tires. I also went ahead with the Kubota LA436 FEL installed along with a Befco C50 Cyclone 72" rear discharge finish mower. He ended up selling everything for $16,500.00 with tax included. I hated to spend that much but, I hope it ends up being a great combo to work on my 5acres. It should be in in two weeks for me to take delivery. I will get some pics asap. I know that my first upgrade will be a toothbar for the FEL. Please let me know what seems to be the best one for my particular bucket. Thanks,LB /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hey welcome to the waiting for tractor club, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif here at TBN, I too am waiting for a new tractor, a BX 23. I belive you got a good deal, on a nice tractor. I had used one a while back, to grade out a spot with a Box blade. It was where I had just cleared out the under brush, using a small track hoe. The L2800 did a nice Job.

I think you are going to be really happy with your l2800. I have been using a l2800 Hst with a 600sq brush hog and love it. You got a good price on it, I wish my dealer could have made me that deal. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the warm replies fellas! I can't wait to get it! I had kinda wanted the 2-stage clutch which put me back to the L3400 which in turn meant another $1,300.00 and tax and then I had thought about the L2800 HST also but, the dealer explanined to me that with the 6' finish mower, I did not need the loss of HorsePower plus again it meant more cash. So Idecided to stick to my guns and go with the L2800 std shift model. Thanks again,LB
