The amazing grapple machine

While we've all seen the pictures of Cart99's amazing grapple machine (B3030). I have now had the pleasure of seeing and trying it out in person this past Sunday. I had the good fortune to be invited by Russ to poke around, try out, and ask a zillion questions in vivo. He spent about two hours with me, an unknown recent TBN'er- how great is that! As I told him, if I now move in the direction of a grapple and my wife wonders where the heck did that idea come from I can point her in the direction of Russ. Oh yeah, I also still have to decide on a particular tractor, first.

BTW, the grapple is an outstanding tool which appears to make quick, painless work of moving brush from here to there. The set up by Messick's was very professionally done- nice job, Neil et al.

Russ was very helpfull to me also. In fact after a couple of PMs I went and saw Neil at Messicks and put my down payment on a B3030.

I ordered the B3030 with bucket, toothbar, worklights, upgraded alternator, and backhoe. I am having hooks welded to the bucket with instructions to make sure they will clear a grapple if I install one, but I did not order that yet.

Thanks guys, glad I could help. Literally everything I know about tractors I learned on TBN first. With all the help I got when I bought mine, I'm just paying it forward. And besides, I'll never turn down an opportunity to show off my cool toys, err, I mean highly productive farm equipment!
