Pacesetter,
The Kioti dealer quoted a better price than the Branson dealer. Both dealers are located nearby. Both dealer's facilities appeared to be successful and well operated, although the Branson dealer has just started that line of tractors.
In terms of performance both tractors are similar. The Branson is noticeably larger and it's worth mentioning the difference in operator cockpit size. Specifically, on the 3520 I could barely disengage the clutch all the way with the seat adjusted fully forward. I actually felt like I was stretching to depress the clutch pedal on the Branson. This was a little uncomfortable for me, but would be great for a 6'-4" guy I'm sure. The Kioti is just the opposite. With the seat all the way back I feel almost a little too close. This is better for me since my wife will occasionally operate the tractor and I'm sure she couldn't reach the Branson clutch.
I did like the location of the gearshift on the Branson better, since it's on the right as on an American manual transmission car.
I recommend you go see the Branson in person if there's a dealer close-by. They seem to be every bit as well built as the Kioti, if not better. It was a difficult (but fun) decision for me, but in the end my decision was based mostly on Kioti's price.
