Just a quick note of thanks to everyone who has posted on this board. I have a jd4300 that ran fine one night would not start the next day. it would turn over but would not start.
Well lets say I was not happy and did not like the idea of calling the dealer to fix it. So thanks this site and the great information I found and old thread on a dead perkins.
I tried a few things and found a bad ground wire on the right
hand side of the block. with the key turned on when you moved the wire you could hear a rely click.
I cleaned up the contacts and she fired right up
