In early 2007 I started looking for a compact tractor with a FEL primarily for snow removal, property cleanup, bush hogging, pumpkin groowing, general utility work that comes with living in the country. Looked at the big name tractors and the prices were just too steep for me. A friend of mine recommended I check out a small dealer about 10 miles from me. I went there and he sold Farmtrac tractors. I looked at a 300DTC and thought this is a nice unit for a lot less money. I started doing research and found that it was manufactured by LS in Korea. On this site I soon discovered that they also supplied Montana with the same tractor. Comments on the Montana site for this unit were very positive. My research included comparing features, capacity, vehicle weight, (cost per pound) and I'm thinking this is allot of tractor. I drove and inspected the tractor and was impressed, fit and finish was great, all my research was telling me this is a great tractor for allot less money so I bought one. The first year and half I am proud of my blue tractor then Farmtrac goes out of business and I have a tractor with no support and start having buyers remorse, I tell myself I should have bought something else.
For the last several months I am now following the new LS site here and I am reading of proud new owners who compared LS to other makes and discovered things like the weight of an LS being greater than many, capacities being greater than many, more features than many others, a Mitsubishi motor that is as solid as anything out there and all of a sudden I realize I am in good company. You guys have validated my decision to buy LS 4 years ago and I thank you for that. I only have about 200 hours on mine but it has been an outstanding tractor for me.
Regards
