Last weekend I was doing some heavy loader work and box blading with my M95 and after several hours I noticed an axle seal leaking oil. I looked like at least an ounce or so. I bought the 2005 model used last December and this is the first mechanical problem that I have noticed. I figure no way was this 4 year old tractor under any type of warranty so I pulled it into my iron shed and started the tear down. I took off the front tire, drained the rest of the fluid, un-bolted the differential, and degreased everything. To get to the seal you have to press out a bearing and the bevel gear. Not being confident that I could do it 100% correctly without a service manual I decided to drop it off at the dealer to change the seal.
Here is a picture of the front axle/differential assembly.
