OOOOOooo!!!!! Very cool!!! 3pt hitch front and rear, 4 wheel steering and a Kubota turbo diesel on one of the models. Did you see the model that the front 3pt can shift over from side to side for an offset? All the best ideas except the implements are still shaft driven. Still, it gets a WOW!

those prizes are ok for state supported farmers in my dear home country ... for us transplanted swiss cheeses pt is our weapon of choice .... another thing lots of machining and manufacturing ... the attachments don't even fit other Aebi machines. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I still wonder how much money would have to be added to the pricetag of the larger PTs if they used a Kubota diesel VS. the Duetz(sp?). Some folks might pay for it. I don't know if I'd pay more $$$ for a 400 series machine if it had a diesel... I'm pretty happy with the gas engine and expect it to last many years with the low number of hours that I put on the thing anually. Contractors like yourself put way more hours on a unit than I ever will. Would a diesel in the 400 be worth the added $$$ ?

When I was at the Louisville Expo Show last October, PT had a 400 series machine with an Onan engine they were testing. Was in the 25hp class and the only thing different was that it as quieter.

yes, to the diesel option. i have larger equipment, but have developed a niche market for the 425. with a little more power and maybe a little more torque but no more foot print i would be very happy to the price about $1200.00 to 1800.00.
