terimite tc5 vrs kubota b21

I'm considering another kubota b21 tlb. I was also looking at a termite TC5 backhoe. According to the specs the Terimite tc5 can lift more than the kubota. Is this true - anyone have any experience with these machines.

No way I would ever pay my money on a termite. Cheaply made and designed. About the only place you'll see that has them are rental companies due to how cheap they are. No question the B21 is a thousand times better machine and I would pay double for a B21 than a termite.

The Kubota B21 is just a much heavier built, better designed and more versatile machine. I've run both and there is really no comparison.

To be honest, I'd even take a BX25 over a terramite.

When I had my mini excavator in the shop, I rented an almost brand new terra-mite or what ever they call them.
It was about the biggest piece of dung that has ever been built. The rental mechanic said that they have more trouble from them than any other piece of equip. they rent. He said nex tyear they are gonna sell all 3 of them an buy small bobcat/kubota/orJD mini excavators to rent out instead.

I own a B21 and my brother-in-law has the terramite. What a joke, the B21 will perform 3 times or more work in a given time period. The terramite does not have the power, torq or speed. I work everday with heavy equipment and the B21 is the closest thing to a full size backhoe as I can find. Meaning it does every move a full size backhoe will do and still be compact. I couldn't use the backhoe on the terramite to even move the machine from side to side. The front loader may show more on paper but in reality the B21 out performs hands down. hope this helps.
