Hey I was just gonna get some opinions on teddering different kinds of hay and how other people do it...
Myself if its mainly thick fescue hay i angel the tines foward and ted at higher rpm to fluff up the hay so air can help cure it.
But if in alfalfa I like to try to ted before morning dew drys and at a slower rpm so to not knock as many leaves off.
How do some of you guys do it and what works best for you?

I'm sure it's a regional thing.

Down here, about the only time anyone uses a tedder is if the hay is rained on for a couple of days after it's almost cured. We seldom have a concern with getting the hay dry enough. Most years, we just hope to get sufficient rain to make it grow.

I don't even own a tedder. Of course, I don't have fescue or alfalfa either. :D
