I have used this forum for quite a few repairs on various pieces of equipment and have had great success with the help provided, I really appreciate the information and guidance. I have run across a several little problems with my 2012 NH TD5050 and have not been able to find much information out there, going to tackle them one at a time.
Original problem from day 1, only half the dash lights worked. PTO, 4x4, low hyd oil pressure lights would not come on so when machine went in for 150 hour free oil change and PM at dealer they found a loose connector somewhere. At 600 hours this has cropped up again. The big issue is something went under tractor when bush hogging and sliced a 1-1/4" hydraulic hose under cab, it drained all of the oil and thankfully I was headed to barn for more fuel and saw it pouring out of hose. With the loose connector and no dash lights I most likely would have burned up a transmission.
I disassembled dash and all connectors are verified tight, fuses have been checked and verified power on both sides of fuse when installed, unplugged and plugged back in connectors associated with the PTO, Hyd pressure, 4x4 etc, still no lights on dash when those are engaged. Has anyone had this problem or have a schematic of where the connectors are? I am trying to avoid tearing the whole left side of cab apart if at all possible. Thank you
