TC55DA EHSS - Tranny or 4WD Problems?

I Was using my loader with a heavy load this morning in 4WD trying to back out of a tight spot while turning. I heard a loud bang and now the tractor won't drive without more banging and the front wheels lock up and spin in opposite direction while trying to move in any direction. I tried disengaging the 4WD but can't tell if it's disconnected.

I manage to limp back to the shop. If I lift the front wheels with the loader I can spin the front tires by hand and they turn in opposite directions. They turn freely by hand. Some gear noise. No difference if the tractor is in 4WD or 2WD.

Any insight where to start? Is it the 4WD? Front differential? Tranny problem?

Anybody have and diagrams to share for the front differential and the 4wd selector and mechanical?

Anyone on here have experience working on the FWD DROP BOX for this machine? I have a few questions. I'm thinking broken gear here.

Does the FWD DROP BOX use the hydraulic oil system reservoir? If I remove the drain plug will it drain my hydraulic system?

Does anyone have the service manual and can they post some of this section or email me a PDF?
