I Went underneat my tractor today to give it some grease. By accident I looked right from underneath the hydraulic fluid filter (right behind the filter housing) up and I found a rubber U shaped hose that looks like the rubber swelled up badly and it is right soft like a tube in a bike tire or something. It doesn't leak or anything, but it likes to collect dust a lot. For what is that hose for? I wonder if other TC55DA owners have the same swollen rubber hose?

On a second note: Is there a grease zerk for the left brake pedal installed?

Here are some pix from that hose I am talking about.

I can't tell what that is hooked to.. but it is more bloated than a dead coon on the side of a road in the middle of july...

Trace that hardline and see where it goes to... The fact that it is hose clamped leads me to believe it is not a high pressure line..

Looks like a hydraulic return line. And it looks like it's leaking.

I am sure it isn't a high pressure hydraulic hose, otherwise that thing would swell bigger than a balloon and explode. I took some more pics. The hose is on the hydraulic return line. Either or IMO that hose is no good being squishy and swollen up like that. Either it swells like a balloon if under pressure or collapses under suction. There can't be much suction on that, otherwise it would have to collapse.Just got a call back from the dealer saying that the hose is supposed to be like that less leaking hydraulic fluid and I should tighten the hose clamps some more. I appreciate all the help and coments!

Thanks!
