Tc45d tail lights

the Tc45d tail lights are dual element bulbs. The tail lights work only one element so what works the other element of the bulb?

There are two lights in the taillight assembly. One is a type 168 lamp and the other is an 1156. The 168 single element miniature lamp is the taillight. The 1156 is the brake, turn signal, and flasher lamp with the dual element.

Oops! An 1156 is also a single element bulb. Someone may have installed the wrong bulb into your tractor.
