Ballast TC45D/16LA Ballast

I'm a fan of the loaded tires also. I bought my TC40 with the two 105lb wheel weights on each side and that 420 lbs wasn't even close to being enough. Tried to move some stone around like that and it just felt like I was sitting on a spring board. Even driving in 2wd on slight inclines with a few inches of snow on the ground the rear would just spin. After a couple of months of that I had the rears loaded which added about another 400 lbs to each side and it now feels like a tractor that is stuck to the ground, like I'm used to. It can still get light doing some loader or grapple work but at least I feel safe now, plus if I have the room I just add my scraper blade to the back, probably only a few hundred pounds but it's always been enough.

Thanks for the feedback eveyone! Since the heaviest implement I have is a rock rake (not very heavy) I have decided to make a concrete ballast. My last tractor had about 800 lbs of concrete on the back & it worked great.
