Got a price of $16.5 K for TC45A from Corriher via their email instant response. Seems like pretty decent number. About $1000 less than my local dealer. Anyone have experience with how much better Corriher typically does on price with phone call price discussion??

Shipping cost from NC? Give Justin Reed a call at Antitam Tractor in Hagerstown, MD. 1-800-553-6731. I'm sure he can meet or beat than price. How about dealer support? Where in PA are you?
That's my concern, dealer support here in NE PA if we buy machine from someone else. I talked to the local dealer today and he said that he couldn't even buy the TC45A for the $16.5 Corriher is asking. I'm inclined to buy local despite cost differential, even though the tax saving on out of state purchase would help with the transport costs, making Corriher even better deal!!!

I believe I would call Corriher on the phone and get the "Nitty Gritty" on that deal. A 45A is the base model with no bells and whistles like the 45D. Still hard to believe that price. Is it a 2 wheel drive? Maybe last years model ? Seems really low to me. I priced a 45D with R-4 tires and loader ready two months ago for over 20K. I know it's not 4 K spread between a "A" and a "D"

Will you be paying NC sales tax if you make an out of state tractor purchase? My guess is no....
I would also guess no to sales tax. Drove both the TC45A AND TC45DA yesterday around dealer's lot. Both are sweet machines. DA with HST much easier to manuever. Don't know about spending the additional 2K, since probably not buying loader. Ground prep for food plots should be easily done with manual trans. Reliability of HST pretty good, I guess??
