I have a tc40 that has no acc power battery is good I have power to the switch and the switch is working but I get no acc power is a safety switch thing I don't think so because i dont even get the glow plug light or any light

Remove your instrument panel from the dash and pull any fuse. Turn the key to RUN position and check the fuse for power. The key switch supplies power to one side of all fuses when you turn it to RUN. If you can keep the meter attached while turning the key on/off, you should see power on/off to the fuse bus. If you don't see any power at the fuses, then the problem has to be in the ignition switch.
Glow plug power is determined by the glow plug timer. If it is faulty, you may never see the glow plug power light, but you should see power to everything else. You didn't say it, but I'm guessing your tractor won't start either. Try finding power at the fuses. If you have power at the key switch output side and none at the fuses, then you have a broken wire. According to my schematic, the wire from the switch to the fuses should be a big orange 10 ga wire.

I am just now getting time to troubleshoot this issue. What I found was 2 problems. The battery cable was not making good connection with the clamp. I found this issue when I was taking a jumper straight from the battery to the fuse block to supply it with power. Once I took the clamp apart and cleaned it the power was no longer intermittant to the main bus. I turned the ignition switch on and still no power but I had it loose in my hand and twisted it bingo I had acc power and was able to start the tractor. I turned it off and back on but had to wiggle the cable again. Tomorrow morning I will get a new switch. Thanks for the help.
