TC33D Hose Needed

I am looking for a 5/8” id x about 10” long hose that goes from the hydraulic oil reservoir to the power steering pump on TC33D. The first nylon reinforced hose suitable for hydraulic oil I used, kinks at the offset so I tried to replaced it with single braid hydraulic hose. It has a stainless braid and the worm drive clamps won’t tighten enough to seal. Years ago Gates made a heavy duty nylon reinforced hose but I can’t seem to find any. Any ideas where I can find a piece of hose that will work?

My parts book lists 86535840 for the TC33 and 86530979 for the TC29 etc. After looking up those numbers, both show that they fit all the models.
