TC30

Just saw a new TC30 on the lot in Ohio today and it looks nearly identical to my 1996 1215 but larger in size. I really liked the simplicity of the thing and they used metal in the fenders, hood and floor boards. The gauges, light switchs and other components look the same too. What’s the story behind this?

I looked hard at the TC30s when shopping for a new tractor. They are a basic tractor, little changed over the years. Their 17xx and 19xx series heritage shows. NH keeps these in the lineup as an entry level (pricewise) tractor - I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't an effective "bait" to draw people in for the low price, then they sell some TC30s and some of the higher priced machines. My take is that they are a solid, capable machine without the "frills and features" of the other models. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not NH's biggest seller - a great machine at a great price. I planned on buying one, but later got a TC34 - the ergonomics and user features of the DA models are fantastic. If you have following this forum for a while, there are tens or hundreds of members who swear by their TC30s.

The TC 30 competes very well with the L2800 & L3400 from Kubota along with the 790 from Deere. It hits a price point that gives the buyer an option of purchasing a 30 HP compact tractor with a front end loader for around 15K. That's here in NC anyway as I live only 12 miles from Corrihers. The unit will do just as much work as any other unit in it's size and HP range but without the creature comforts of the newer TC series. I think that they are great units plus they look like my 1720.

TC30 Hydro 4x4 7308 loader 60” bucket $16,875.00 plus tax. This is in Ohio. What do you all think?

Tractor and loader ( Great Bend ) under $14k.

Does this tractor come with a hydrostat tranny?

Last time I checked , around 2yrs or so , hydro was a option on them , gear is standard
