Any feedback on a new TC30 4x4 w/loader for $14400. I live in Indiana. Does this sound reasonable? I can't afford much more than this. I have 6 acres and a 500ft drive to keep in shape. I also need it for putting in about 2 acres of yard/ 2 retaining walls/moving brush and trees. The final mowing will be about 3 acres of grass to mow. I also live on hill.
Thanks

Your property sounds an awful lot like mine. I also have a TC30 with the 7308 loader. It is just about the perfect size for my property. I paid right around that price for it last fall.

Hope this helps.

It seems to me that it is a good price. I am assuming it is a gear drive tractor and not the hydro. However you are getting a good price and it will do almost everything you ask of it.

Yep, that is about average for a gear drive.
Nice unit.....I love mine. Paid 16,500 for the hydro with loader and back blade last fall...if that helps.

Thought I would get down to the NH dealership today but other things came up. Does anyone want to buy a 1970 SS Chevelle? My wife thinks I am crazy for selling it to buy a tractor? She thinks I should just buy an older tractor. I tried to tell her that it is difficult to find a used tractor w/loader/boxblade/bushhog for a low price that would outweigh spending more and getting a new tractor. What can I say...women.
Thanks for the replys. They all help in the decision making process.

I might have an interest in the SS. If you will email me the details, picture and what you want for it. My email is jematti@micoks.net.

I just bought a TC33D and can understand your desire for tractor vs car!

While I don't know what prices have done over the past year and I'm on the other end of the state. (Actually bought mine out of Michigan.) I paid slightly less than that for my -30 with the 7308 loader and a RD72 Woods finish mower last spring. Even got a set of filters, a few hats and a key chain! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Shop around, never know what you might find. I think one of the guys I work with was talking about a dealer in Salem, IN that had some pretty good pricing.

AND, you'll like the TC30, nice basic machine. Sort of like that Chevelle, built with one purpose in mind.

Good Luck,

Don

The salesman says I should buy the TC29 because it has some super duper seat. I can get hydro on the TC30 too...right? What is so special about the TC29 over the TC30?
