TC25D - Step Question

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2004 TC25D Tractor with a loader and 3 point 72" mower deck as well as some other goodies. The tractor has the R-3 Ag tires both front and rear and I must admit, this thing has quiet a bit of hike from the floor to the deck of the tractor. I was wondering if anyone knows of a company / pattern who created a mid-step for the tractor? Nothing major, but just a little tube or something under the walking area. Personally I'm 6'2" and don't have much of an issue but other family members who are using the tractor to mow are somewhat shorter and have shorter legs to climb up.

I used to own a TC33 and bought a step from the NH dealer. This was apparently a NH product option. It came with a bracket for underneath the deck to give more support. The step can not be used with a midmount mower as the support bracket would interfere with the belly deck. As I had the belly mower I never did hook up the step. It appeared sturdy and easy to install.

Afternoon GustaveIII,

I took a look at the IPB at Messicks website and I don't see a step listed. Check with your dealer, I've got a T2220 and just put a step on mine, it took about 5 min. There were brackets under the floorboard of my tractor already, just had to put a couple bolts and a bracket on between the step and
the tractor and put a couple bolts into the tractor. Very
quick job.

Thats my next idea too is IF I don't like the 3 point mower option, then I'll try and find a MMM and then I could easily just step on the deck and then onto the tractor. Of course buying a MMM for the step isn't exactly the sainest idea, but if the 3 point mower isn't a good option for my mowing conditions (will find out this spring) then I'll hafta figure it out.
