I inherited a TC21D (98 I think) from my father. I have taken it in to be serviced, but since then it sat out at my second property. Between the snake skin and rat nests the wiring seems to be a bit messed up... It would not turn over so I figured the wiring got eaten. I took the plastic off below the wheel and found 2 wires that are clipped and taped. I guessed they went to the safety switches so I separated them - it wouldn't start, twisted them together - nope, figured what the heck and attached them both to ground - wala chug chug vrooommm...... I figured I would see if both needed to be ground and now it starts no matter if these two wires are connected, grounded or isolated....
The question I have is can anyone tell me what these two wires were originally... Black with silver break and blue with silver breaks....
Guess we will leave the covers off to give me access to fiddle if the problem rears its head again....
