I haven't shot the Omega, but my wife shoots a CVA Kodiak, which is essentially the identical gun to the TC Omega. It's quite accurate when you find a bullet/charge combination that it likes.
Just remember, if you shoot it today, you'd better clean it before the sun goes down!!!

Otherwise, you have a rusty stick
Muzzleloaders is just about all I use for deer anymore... the deer are so plentiful around here, there's just about no excitement anymore in deer hunting for me...so I liven it up with the ol' smokepoles... adds a bit of challenge to it.
I'm shooting either a TC Hawken when the weather is good that I built from a kit about 15 years ago, or a CVA Optima for when I don't want to take my pretty Hawken out in the current conditions. The Optima is really cheating... but it fits me like a glove, it's extremely accurate and it's easy to clean, and it goes off EVERY time.
My Optima likes 110gr loose Triple 7 Powder under a Sierra 240gr JHP .44 cal bullet in a Hornady green sabot. Becky's Kodiak does pretty good with that load also, it might be a good one to try with your Omega, but work up to it... if I go to 120 grains of powder, it starts blowing the sabots in both guns, so that's right at max. I took a 215lb 11pt Buck at 157 yards last year with that load in my Optima... I kinda misjudged the range a bit, I thought he was just over 100 yards out when I pulled the trigger. Needless to say, I'm impressed. 777 is good stuff, and so is Sierra bullets
