I just noticed a hairline crack on my 2006 TC45A drivers side rear fender with 70 hours. Maybe 1/2-3/4" long-by the ROPS bracket. The crack is probably not much thicker than a human hair but you can feel it with your fingernail. I'm always careful getting on and off the tractor.
I've noticed other people on TBN having this problem but theirs are way worse ie. coming part or separating and way larger.
I have 2 more months on my warranty. Is this something I should make NH and my dealer aware of? I also do not want to be laughed out of the dealership either.
At the same time I can see this crack getting bigger down the road (out of warranty of course) to where I need to repair or replace the fender. You know this problem is only going to get worse.
At the least I plan to make up a metal support bracket underneath the fender that ties in the fender grab handle to the ROPS somehow. Maybe I can sell them on ehay.
