tc 40 height

Does anyone know the height of a TC40 with the ROPS folded down? I am now thinking about buying the TC40 2wd. Got a price today of $12880. That is only $120 more than the TC33. I could use the extra hp. My problem is to get the tractor in my shop it has to be lower than 80". I just wonder if the TC40 will fit with the ROPS folded down.

The answer will depend on the tires: R1 will be tallest, R4 middle, and turfs shortest.

Can not answer your question directly, but height TC40 should be approximately 95" with RPS up. Depending upon type of tires on it, you should gain 18"-24" of clearance when it is folded.

I own a TC40 with folding ROPS. I have R4 tires. I park the TC40 in my two car garage that has two standard 9'x7' garage doors. The key is to make sure that you get the door all the way up and there is very little lip left. Still with that, the hinges on the ROPS are somewhat close. It works okay for me, but I still hope to build a run-in shed or something later this year to store the tractor.

By the way, I also have my rear tires turned so I can have more stability on some of the hills around here. Even with them dished out, I can get into the garage with no problem, as long as I take my time.

Overall, I think you should have no problem. For only $120 more, I think you will like the upgrade. However, I have 4-wheel drive which is extremely useful at times, so you should probably consider that as well.

I have a TC 35 4wd (don't think that would matter) with r4s. Just measured it and the best I can tell is right at 76". Hope it helps. Definitely under 80".
