my neighbor has asked me to restore her pasture 2.5 acres to a standard suitable for grazing two horses. Weeds and buttercups are high. Field was disced a couple of years ago so its clean of stumps, rocks, etc. Would like to overseed this fall. Any suggestions on how to attack this with minimal trips over the field with my tractor. What would be the best seed blend? Trying to avoid fertilizer. This is eastern Virginia. Plenty of rain in the fall. I do not know anything about horse pasture management. thanks in advance.
