I have the guage cluster and I have 15 hours on the machine. the tach has been "jumpy" from the time I got it but yesterday it died . Any one have any suggetions?

Scratch, I had the same thing happen to my 2425 after about 10 hrs. Finally it just quit so I called Homier and they sent me a new tach and the sending device that screws in to the housing in front of the flywheel. What had happened to mine was somebody had the sending unit screwed in too far and it was hitting the flywheel.
You screw the sending unit in till it touches the flywheel and then back it out one complete turn. Do this when the engine is not running.
Your tach is probably ok but the sending unit is proably shot. Unscrew it and see if it has been rubbing the flywheel.
You know it could be that it has backed out too far also.

Bob, it's is most likely out of adjustment,if you know where it is it is very simple to adjust.Let me know if the adjustment works or not.If we need to send you a new tach sender let me know. Also check the connector on the wiring.
thanks Tommy
Ok where do I look?
The tach needle was all over the place before it finally quit. Is that a symptom of it being out of adjustment? I hope so! That would be an easy fix.
