TA-290 starter

I was having issues with my tractors starter. The local auto electric shop says it needs an armature.
They cannot find any starter parts the numbers on the starter indicate it is a standard but mine is a gear drive hitachi.

this tractor is an Iseki TA-290 w/ a 4cyl Isuzu engine.

can anyone help?
