Anybody have to retighten all the mouting hardware for the front loader?
I have done this twice with the dealer doing it twice once before delivery and once when threads stripped out in engine block where the mount gets bolted to.
I am ready to just use some permenant LocTite and hit them with the impact gun once and for all? It has locwashers but I guess the stress/vibration is too great.
I am just getting sick of when I need it I have to work on it in the middle because of loose bolts. If I wanted to wrench on it all the time I would have bought an older much heavier duty TLB from JD, Case, Ford, etc.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have the LT350 on my T300 and haven't had any issues yet. I have right at 180 hours on it now and everything has remained tight.

use loctite and then us a tension wrench not a impact gun then you know they are all even plus not over tightened

good point sundancekid I will need to get another torque wrench probably 3/4" because my 1/2" craftsman only goes to 130 ft/lbs I think.

130 ft/lbs is to much, your owners manual will probably list some torque specs.

Galen,

According to the chart in the front loader manual the 12mm grade 10.9 get 93-112ft/lbs and the 14mm grade 10.9 get 149-179ft/lbs. I haven't looked at the chart in my garage but I will when I get a chance and I will look at the bolt heads on the machine--TYM is known for so many misprints in their paperwork.

come to think of it I remember I used a 22mm and 24 mm sockets and 22mm and 24mm bolt heads are I believe 14mm and 16mm threads, but would have to check. 16mm grade 8.8 needs 160-200ft/lbs and grade 10.9 needs 230-280ft/lbs.

Galen,
Yup they are decent size I verified they are M14 and M16 Threaded bolts yesterday.
The true question is why the loc washers are not staying tight? What are your thoughts on the loc tite, permanent, medium strength, nylon lock nuts or what are your recommendations? any thoughts?
I am thinking large flat washers on both ends and new bolts with plenty of length to have nylon lock nuts.
