I got a flyer from Surplus center and they have Swivel Eye Cylinders in 1" to 1.5" bore that should work great for TNT uses, I ordered 2 in 1.5" bore 6" stroke 13 1/4 retracted length which will work for my BX 2200.
They don't have a lot of them, so better check them out soon, the only had 14 of the size I ordered.

Do you have a part number? I looked at the site, but there were too many pages to go through to find it. thanks Dusty

Sure Dusty, the one I ordered was # 9-7258-6, that was the 1.5"x6x1,
It was in their Catalog 279C - Fall 2006, Under new arrivals supposed to arrive here in Texas on the 28th

Thanks. I am thinking of one for use as a hydraulically adjustable 3 point link. What are your thoughts?

Buy a hydraulic cylinder.
Buy a top link.
Cut the ends off the cylinder.
Cut the ends off the top link.
Weld the top link ends to the hydraulic cylinder.

I did this for a few cylinders on my backhoe. A cylinder with clevis ends + the top link was still cheaper than a cylinder with those swivel ends on it.

For a hydro 3 point top link some times the welding on a swivel from a top link is not enough and the top link binds up.
I made a made a swivel joint as pictured here. All I used was a piece of 3/4" pipe welded to some channel stock.
That way all I used was a cheap 2 x 8 piston.

Having the top link hydro is great and should be standard on all tractors.
Especally when disk plowing, draw bladeng, and using the rock rake. It really allows you to dig in the implement into the ground.
It also is pissa to pick up and move trailers around with a 3 pt 2" receiver hitch.

The swivel eye hole is to large on some of the cylinders. If you purchase a couple of the spring bushing, they will reduce the hole to the right size and they won't fall.

i have a 3x8 ASAE Hydraulic cylinder (tie rod type) am wondering, since you can unscrew the clevis on one end for adjsutment, can you get a swivel ball end to where you can hook that up to your tractor, that way your hydraulic cylinder can be universal. ie, take it off after hauling round bales off the field and if needed, change the end so you can use it say ona batwing mower or what have you. if you can get something such as that, where can i find one. it has to be a category II, with a 1 inch diam. hole.
