When I had the recall done on my TC45D I had the dealer use F200 multi-season hydraulic oil instead of the standard (heavier weight) NH134 when the refilled the system. Warm-up and initial operation is noticably faster. I'm happy with the change. Note - HST seems to be smoother and quiter the first 15 minutes of operation.

John, thanks for the info. I asked this question some time ago over on the Lubrication and Oil board and I might have here at NH. Let me know if your opinion changes. I will likely switch when the 300 hour change comes. Since I'm in Michigan, a good percentage of my use is in cooler weather so this is of a real interest to me. To bad NH doesn't give you the option when purchasing based on you location!

DJ,

Put about 15 hrs on my tractor sine the recall repair and hydraulic oil switch. I'm pleased!

John
