Hi. This might sound a bit strange...listen, over here (west europe including sweden) standard joystics on 360 diggers have on left joystic: Dipperstick and swing lever, right joystic: Boom and bucket lever.............and my BX24 have:
left joystic Boom and swing lever, right joystic: Dipperstick and bucket lever.
This is a pain when changing from a 360 to my BX.
Please help, I have looked on my BX and it seems fairly simple to just change/swap hydralic hoses on the hydralic block, but the hydralic cylinders on the dipperstick and boom are diffrent in sizes. Any goods advices?
Thanks,

Look at the manual - if the control valve has one relief valve for all the work ports then its ok to swap them, provided the hydraulic fittings and hoses are the same size and the hoses reach ok. The cylinder size difference isn't an issue because the oil supply pressure and volume are the same from all ports. If other people will use the machine it would be good to re-mark everything.

You can swap them at the valve block. I changed mine to the excavator setup after a couple of weeks because I just couldn't get used to it. Then I found I had gotten used to it enough that the excavator set up felt even more clumsy so I changed them back. Unfortunately, you can't easily change the stabilizer control direction. I'll never get used to "pulling" the lever to lower the outrigger.

I had trouble with that as well. What I wound up doing was typically getting off and spinning the seat around with the stabilizers still down. Then, just before driving away, reaching back and pushing the levers to get them up seemed to feel natural.

You know I have the exact same problem! One has to wonder what the design engineers were thinking when they designed that system! For them to create a tractor that is so good at everything you ask of it, and then get those controls backwards is something. Maybe they had a co-op or summer intern working on that hyd circuit and missed it before the final drawings were done........

Anyways, thats the only motion of the back-hoe that doesn't feel "natural".

I have looked trou the manual, but cant find any information about one or to relief valves? Anyone knows? I dont feel for "just" trying... if you see what mean;)
