Suspension seat for BX 2660

Looking for input on replacing my stock seat on BX 2660. Primarily used for mowing and tire of my back and kidneys hurting. Been researching, but didn't see anything recent, so hoping there are some updates from someone who may have done this.

I see two options: 1, by a whole new seat with suspension, but high costs or 2, by a suspension system to use with my seat. My seat is in excellent condition.

There's been some discussion about this with a BX, but to my knowledge nobody makes a direct replacement suspension seat for these tractors. I believe someone did it by fabricating some sort of mounting bracket, but that's the extent of what I remember

I know my L48 is much different than your BX 2660, but I have the same problem.

I ordered a seat for my L48, from Seat Warehouse, Amazon, and Milsco......all did NOT FIT.
Each claimed in their advertising that their seat would fit.
All have been returned.
A new Kubota seat for my L48 (from Messick's) is $699 + shipping.
I am not willing to do that.

I put one of those seats on my Bob Cat Zero turn did make a difference. Just remember that it doesn't have a lot of travel.

Thanks for the replies, for some reason I wasn't getting notified that someone had posted. This is what I was expecting, haven't seen anyone do this without some serious modifications. But, I may try something and/or just spend some time and money trying to smooth the yard (5 acres), or maybe a "B" model kubota, bound to ride a little smoother.

My B2650 rides noticeably rougher (using a MMM) than my BX2660 (did) or my B2620 (does). But I don't understand why. Both of the "B"s have industrial R4 tires. The BX2660 had turf tires. The rear tires on the B2650 has a suggested psi of 20....whilst the B2620 has 40 psi....go figure that out.

On the other hand the B2620 has a floating deck; whereas the B2650 has a ground contact deck. Maybe that's difference. But my back sure can tell the difference. Adjusting the seat tension on the B2650 didn't help.:confused3:

But, like bama, smoothing out the ruts and gouges in the turf would help. Felling and dragging large Pine trees in the off season does tear up the turf. Well....Dah-h-h-h. to me.
