I was considering one of these trailers, but I cannot seem to find much info on them. I wanted to get some opinions on the frame construction. I believe the frame is 6" channel. Most of the equipment trailers I see have the frame stacked on the tongue, unlike this one. Just curious what you all think. If I don't buy this, I'll probably buy a big tex 10et. This one is about $400 cheaper.

From the pictures on my phone it looks pretty well built. Just curious what the weight difference is between this and a comparable PJ trailer? That may tell you something. At the end of the day perhaps you can talk to the guy with the PJ trailer down a bit and get the price closer and that may help you make your decision. If you decide to go with this trailer look closely at the welds and wiring. That will tell you the quality. also check the tires and make sure they are rated to the day off the trailer.

Superior makes a well built heavy duty trailer. I have been using one for the past 7years. i just went through it a couple of months ago. new hubs/brakes. New LED lights and new paint.
They trailer real nice. The only problem i found with the tongue/frame is with a weight distribution hitch. i installed the brackets on the inside, between the two channels. It works fine just a little tough to connect the chains.
Superior has been around along time and i think they make trailers for big-rigs down to the trailer that you are looking at.
