Suit tie with overalls

Have someone make one for you. My mother made ties all the time for friends.

I had a job several years ago that required a tie. I only saw the bosses and my fellow workers, no customers and worked 3rd shift. I made up some ties out of old blue jeans /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif bosses did not like them, but they were a tie, with nothing offensive pictured or written on them, so what could they do. The tie rule was dropped about 3 months later /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I had a tee shirt that had a tie and cumber bun around the waste...... Looked just like a tuxedo...... I looked like a pregnant penguin when I wore it..... the wife cut it up one night, but denied it when I asked where it went!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I always liked the plastic bow ties that the service station operators and milk men wore. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Those were the days when working men dressed for the occasion.. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

A man needs several pairs of over-alls.
2 or 3 pairs to work in. It's virtually impossible to keep 'em clean, so 2 or 3 pairs allow a proper laundry rotation.
1 good pair (usually the newest ones) for "formal" occations.
1 pair of new ones (stored away in the closet) for ones own funeral when that day comes. When a new pair is purchased, rotate these to "formal wear status".
As far as a tie, I still haven't mastered the art of tying a tie while wearing a pocket tee, so I don't see the need. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
With my attitude, you might be able to figure out why I'm avoiding the wife on this topic /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It has taken 20 yrs to train the wife on my attire. Sounds about like yours. Pocket T's/ flannel shirts and cheap wally world jeans. I don't feel nearly as bad ruining a $12 pair of jeans vs a $45 pair. The pocket T's need to be gray, I have found that angry bees are attracted to red and other bright colors /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif Gray just seems to be the best color.
Now during years past I have been required to "dress up" for some jobs I have had. Did not like it but it is just part of the game of making money.

Several people have assumed I am seeking this for work. Luckly, this is not the case. I've been honored to be asked to preside over the marriage of my brother and his fiance, but she has laid down the law and said I cannot were overalls. ;-)
I thought it would be great fun if I could find a tie that had overalls on them to wear instead.
