Ballast Suit case weights.......

Looking at the CK25/30 brocher, I noticed under "options" that Kioti has suit case weights for the front but no pics or info about the mounting of these. I wanted to know if any owners of a CK25/30 have this option as I would like to see if I could adapt this to fit my CK20 as the "bolt-on" weights seem like they'd be a pain to put on and take off.

You can buy the weights to hang on the front bracket just under the hood. They have a "lip" than secures them over the edge. You can buy generic brands and paint them orange. John

I thought about that but didn't know if there would enough clearance between the front crossmember and the lower sheet metal also, as you know, it has the "notch" for the front PTO. So I don't know if the 25/30's have bolt on hanger, if not, I guess I could just build one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Heck, as for paint color I'd paint them a bright pink, that way if someone was to "barrow" them, it would be obvious! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
