sudden engine shut down, fuse blown

hi folks, gravelman back with update on B2650 Kubota 2016 model. If you recall it started shutting down instantly when i applied the brake and SET THE BRAKE hold lever. I took the cowl off the dash, there is a safety switch that the brake hold lever engages... as soon as that happens the 5 amp fuse that controls safety switch system blows. I took that safety switch off and the tip was rusty and there was no clicking noise. Im not even sure what that saftey switch does... never knew it was there. I will go to Kubota Monday and get a new switch hoping it is the problem. I saw no chaffed wires or any other issue.
