I have successfully completed the conversion from standard flow to high flow auxiliary hydraulics on a Toolcat. It does require lifting the cab, but after the cab is removed it’s a simple job. The total cost for parts is $1101.39 when purchased at full price from Bobcat’s online store. It also requires dealer programming to activate the high flow option, or someone with access to the dealer software ;). A complete parts list will be provided below. Parts and procedures should be the same for all series D, F, and G, Toolcats, and I'm fairly certain UW53/UW56 use the same parts as well. A competent mechanic in a well equipped shop should be able to complete the job in 8-10 hours, most of that time spent removing and reinstalling the cab.
There is no change to the hydraulic pumps, the only changes are in valving, controls, and piping. The sectional control valve does not need to be disassembled. Two plugs get removed from the mid inlet section and replaced with valves. A few fittings, pipes, and hoses get replaced. The wiring for the switch and solenoid are already in place, they just need to be plugged in. While I was at it, I also added power Bob-tach and two additional rear remote hydraulic circuits.

Great project. Well-explained in the vid.

I gather that you had to do a lot of pressure-washing first. Looks very clean.

Is the plan to run a front snow blower?

I just sold my Bobcat snow blower, haven't really needed one here for years. I have a stump grinder that requires high flow, and a flail mower that I like to run in high flow at a lower engine rpm.

Pressure washed, removed cab, pressure washed again. I spent at least an hour pulling handfulls of sticks and mud out of the central tunnel of the frame. I actually had the cab off for three weeks, doing lots of repairs and maintenance, waiting for parts, etc.

Like you, I like to do a LOT of cleaning of a project machine long before I take anything sensitive apart. Sometimes it takes me hours in a moon suit.

Well done.
