Tractor
Grand L3540 ,724 loader, bucket, grapple and now forks also! And just for OP.. a pool!
I picked up a new fuel filter and cleaned the outer air filter and reinstalled them both. The manual says to open the airbleed on the fuel pump and open the petcock for the fuel bowl/filter (I have done this many times without issue) Today I went through the bleeding procedure but, here's the stupid part, neglected to open the petcock!! After the 30 seconds the book says, I closed the bleed screw on the pump, started to drive off and it died, found the closed petcock and opened it, opened the bleed screw and tried to go through the bleeding procedure again except this time I cannot get the tractor to start again!!
Suggestions??

So I had called the local Kubota dealer and talked to their head mechanic before I saw the post up above. He said to set the pump to bleed , open the throttle wide open and crank it, it took a bit but finally got it running. Hope I'm not so absent-minded next time!!
And thanks for that quick response eric.

Just REMEMBER that the air has to be let out of the pump at its highest point.. the injectors..
Never loosen the steel lines AT THE PUMP.. if it can be helped..
