Stump pulling power !

Today's job was to remove an overgrown Burning bush next to the house . It was about 10' tall x 10' wide ,with a 1' base . So I hook up a 20' chain w/ slip hook at the bush , and the other end to the CK30 HST. I'm in 4-wheel low , take the slack out of the chain , increase RPM's , nice and easy on the peddle , so a little more RPM's and it rips it out stump and all ! The amazing part was it never spun a tire , or harmed one blade of grass (still dead here in Michigan ) . Boy .... I love that little tractor . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Tim

Hey you go Tim. Glad you didn't "jerk" it out. You can lose a rear end that way!
I tell everybody they'll be surprised at what the CK30 can do, as well as my little CK20HST. They're really beasts. John

Yes they are quite a powerful tractor.. I pushed over 2- 7in by 35 foot trees myself yesterday. No problem at all, then took my toothbar and snapped the roots of that were still holding it and then carried the trees to my burn pile with the loader... This machine continues to amaze me... Matt
