I recently took delivery of a 60 series tractor. Before I took delivery......I found a solution to a guard for the 3rd function hoses and couplings (here TBN - THANKS!). I told the dealer I wanted a protective plate installed and brought him pictures and a "how to" from this site. They fabricated one up in short order and installed it......and tucked all the hoses up neatly.
The first time I saw my new tractor with that 3rd function installed.....I could see that it would not take long to tear those hoses off.....and I was not going to take delivery without a better solution.
This is a blatant error in engineering to my way of thought.......and it's like a $10 fix and should be a part of their 3rd function "kit". My dealer said that in the future they are going to put a protective plate on all their new 60 series tractors with the 3rd function.
