Mitsubishi MT210 (new to me) 3 point hitch stuck in up position, sat up for 5 years. Any pointers... How do I check hyd fluid and is the screen by my left foot the only screen/filter on the hyd fluid...thanks for any help

Is there a three point hitch drop rate valve under the seat? If so turn the valve counterclockwise. It may be turned to the closed position, not allowing the fluid to escape the lift cylinder. It is normal to transport an implement in the up position with this valve closed. Also did you put weight on the lower links when you attempted to lower the 3 point?

Have turned back and forth serveral times, taken it out and put it back in tight, tried to lower each time, nothing. It has a plate with 4 bolts holding the plate in place where the flow control rod goes in, if I take this plate off will I be looking at the valve?

Wish I could answer that, the info I gave is generic. I have no experience with that model. But with the knob rotated counterclockwise, and weight on the lift arms and it does not lower then probably time to open it up.

Ok...thank you. I had a 5' bush hog on the back trailering it from TX to LA with lift arm in the down position.
