Tractor
Kubota B2620
i bought a new b2620 last week and arranged to have it delivered this pm after work. so much looking forward to it all week.
the sales guy offered to deliver it last friday, but i was going out of town for the weekend so we set it up for today, giving the
shop another day or two to get things ready if they needed it.
so i call the salesman this am to confirm delivery appointment. he has no clue who i am until after 3 reminders of our transaction just a week ago.

finally he recognizes me and can't remember that he is supposedly delivering the tractor this pm.
says he has to 'get eyes on it' and get back to me. no problem, i realize he deals with a lot of folks and i'm just one of them.
he calls me back and says it's not ready and won't be until this coming friday, a full week after he offered it.
i kind of grunted on the phone, but it really meant WTF?.
i called back to talk to the owner and he was expectedly very apologetic and promised it tomorrow instead, saying
he was having guys stay over tonight to prep it and put the mmm together.
i ended up telling him i give him the benefit of the doubt on this obvious and admitted fupa, but also expressed to him
what kind of first impression this gives me when they basically lost me in the shuffle before even delivering the product.
moderately pissed off in pa. /end rant.

May it go better for you. Wonder what happened.

Well, it seems the owner took control and, I hope, fixed it all for you. That is good. That would make me happy. After you get the tractor, the salesman is really irrelevant.

Good luck.

half-guessing that it never got put into the shop schedule to begin with. this also prompted me to impress upon the owner that him getting it out right away
should not mean hasty/wrong/something missed/etc.

My guess is that the same thing would have happened if you had agreed to have it delivered last Friday. When it arrives your frustrations should melt away quickly, though!

thanks guys. i have settled down about it all. i will be dealing with these people for the duration of my kubota ownership and
even though it got off to a shaky start, i would like to have a good relationship with them. mistakes do happen and if the tractor is
all i've heard about kubota's, it won't really matter in the long haul.

Hope it all worked out, I am friends with my shop foreman and owner of the company. They have had their mechanics working six days a week to keep up with repairs and setup; lots of tractors are being sold for some reason.
