Have you ever built something that every time you use it you tell yourself how glad you are you did it? This is one of those items for me. It is a cart for my tombstone welder and its extention cord. The cord is over 200' long. It is something called skyclimber cable. It was in a storage shed at a job I worked at for many years, way in the back on the floor. I actually thought it was an old hose until we cleaned out the room and I found out it was cable. It is only 10 gauge but it has very fine strands of wire and carries a lot of current. It is also very flexable. I guess some window washers had left it.
It sure makes moving the welder around easier. I've been building a toothbar for my loader and a 3pt tree grubber so I have been using the welder lately. I built this about 10 years ago. When not in use I keep one of those 6mil contractors grade trash bag over it. Just thought someone may be interested. MP
